Ooh, I definitely have to get Gilded by Deborah Davis. Loved her book on Virginie Guitreau and Sargeant.

It’s very good. Of course it devotes a nice fat section to the heyday of Newport, but also gives a lot of detail to Newport society from the 1930s and on.

From a purely aesthetic point of view, I would love to read The Great Silence! Yes, a lovely cover is enough to catch my attention! lol.
