		<description>Thanks so much for post Evangeline. I have a Halloween scene in my WIP, and I&#039;m glad to see that I&#039;ve gotten most of the details right! It&#039;s hard to believe they had candy corn in the 1880&#039;s, although I&#039;ve had some that tasted as if it was that old.</description>

		<description>Thank you for writing an enjoyable article on Halloween. Part of it reminded me of an article I read a few years back regarding the celebration of Halloween in France by Americans. When interviewed, one Parisian sniffed, &quot;It is a bizarre holiday!!!&quot; He felt it was one of the worst things Americans brought to France. Oh well. I intend to send a link to this to a few friends who will appreciate your history.</description>
